We welcomed our newest store – Amigos Hardware Lane, Melbourne CBD in November 2011. Our new city location also features our first Tapas and Tequila Bar upstairs.

Amigos hosted a Christmas Party dinner at Lygon Street for the kids from The Lighthouse Foundation with the promise for each Amigos location to hire one young person to work within their restaurant. http://www.lighthousefoundation.org.au/

Thanks to the owners and staff of Amigos Acland St who raised over $1,100.00 by donating equal amounts to put towards the QLD Flood Relief Appeal. We’d also like to thank Amigos patron and dear friend Kristijan also volunteered his time to assist in the clean up.

Co-founder Carolyn Dib has been spending time setting up sustainable projects in Kenya (Mina Academy) with a 2 year sponsorship commitment. An office with a new computer system and a shipping container of clothes, furniture and useful things was sent to the school (including 100 teddy bears donated by TLC for Kids).
